Located on the west coast of Karmøy, OceanviewKarmoy provides direct access to the productive fishing grounds of the North Sea.
The area is well known for excellent fishing opportunities throughout much of the year and offers easy access to deep water close to shore.

Sheltered Fishing in Karmsundet
One of the biggest challenges when planning a fishing trip to Norway is weather.
To maximize fishing opportunities, OceanviewKarmoy offers access to a second launch location in Kopervik, only approximately 10 minutes by car from the property.
Located on the sheltered east side of Karmøy, Karmsundet often provides fishable conditions when the North Sea becomes too rough.
This unique setup significantly increases the chances of productive fishing during your stay and helps reduce weather-related downtime.
Deep Water Fishing in Nedstrandsfjorden
For anglers seeking a truly unique experience, OceanviewKarmoy also provides access to the spectacular waters of Nedstrandsfjorden.
From Kopervik, the fjord can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by boat.
Nedstrandsfjorden reaches depths of up to 650 metres and offers some of the most dramatic underwater terrain in the region.
The fjord is known for its rich marine life, steep underwater slopes, and exciting deep-water fishing opportunities.
Crab & Lobster Fishing
Experience one of Norway’s most traditional coastal activities.
Guests have access to crab pots and, during the legal lobster season, lobster traps, allowing you to harvest your own seafood directly from the waters surrounding Karmøy.
