Payment & Confirmation

Once availability is confirmed:

  • You will receive a secure Stripe payment link
  • A 10000 NOK refundable deposit is required

Deposit

A refundable deposit of 10000 NOK is required before use.
This will be refunded after the rental period, provided the boat is returned in the same condition.

Rental Terms

  • The renter is responsible for any damage during the rental period
  • The boat must be operated with care and in accordance with local regulations
  • Boat insurance is included, see details below.
  • The renter must be qualified to operate the boat. Persons born after 01.01.1980 will need to hold a boat license according to Norwegian law.
  • The fuel tank must be returned full, only petrol 95 to be used.

Insurance and Damage Liability

The vessel is insured under the owner’s marine insurance policy, provided it is operated in accordance with the rental agreement, applicable laws, and normal standards of care.

In the event of damage or loss during the rental period, the renter is responsible for the insurance deductible (excess), which may be charged against the security deposit, as well as any costs not covered by the insurance.

The renter may be held fully liable for all damages if the incident results from negligence, gross negligence, misuse of the vessel, operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs, violation of laws or regulations, or breach of these rental terms.
